From: Sarah Porter Photography: I have a confession– I’ve always enjoyed Valentine’s Day for one strange reason; it’s the one day a year that someone can justify pairing red and pink together unabashedly! This proposal and engagement shoot draws its inspiration from Valentine’s Day. The meshing of the pinks with the pop of red in the berries and bouquet helps to bring life to the rugged setting in Loveland, Colorado. You can’t have a proper proposal without a ring and at the center of this vision is a ring from Victor Barbone named The Scarlett that set the stage for everything surrounding this sweet and thoughtful proposal. The name Scarlett brought to mind the color red and the unique setting of the diamond reminded me of this offbeat location with its rough beautiful and breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains. The jagged edges to the rock formations is always a thrilling sight to take in and enjoy over a light lunch of sweet and savory from the La Petite French Bakery. There are few better ways to set the tone than extending a vibrant bouquet of flowers to the one you love. As if all of this isn’t enough, the attention to the details and careful planning of a sunset proposal will leave you swooning.
