Sometimes, there’s no better inspiration than your own childhood when you need a spark of creativity. For Jennifer Tan of Jennifer Tan Weddings & Events, she drew out some memories from her youth spent in Chester, California. This west coast town is home to Lassen National Park and the park is replete with woodlands, brooks and rivers, winding trails, and a view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This editorial captured by Xsight Media solely expounded upon the deep nature shades of their surroundings. Our bride donned two dresses: one soft and beige in color, and the second gown was luminescent and a combined shade of forest green, muted blues, and a brown tulle overlay. Foraging was the concept of the day as Jennifer sought out what the wilderness had to offer for the headpiece, bouquet, and boutonniere; resulting in striking and unique pieces that went perfectly with the aesthetic of the shoot. It’s always a good idea to get lost in the woods for a while.
