Fall, we think, throws mountainscapes into a bevy of wonder. The air is crisp, the colors are transforming, and rolling hills and peaks seem to stand out more proudly during the season. There’s an undeniable siren song and when planning their Blue Ridge Mountain wedding, New Yorkers Kati and Brendan found the call indisputable.
Photographed by Lieb Photography, their tender ceremony at Holy Comforter Catholic Church was followed up with their breathtaking reception at King Family Vineyards where, of course, the two opted for deep red colors with a peppering of green and white to complement the vineyard’s cabernet shades. Admittedly, the pair had zero knowledge on flowers, so bloom maven Foxtail Cottage created stunning table pieces that evoked the autumnal season and worked harmoniously with their color palette and the romantic candle setup. Fun fact: Kati’s gorgeous gown was custom-made by her designer of choice, Jude Jowilson, when she was unable to find “the gown”. How amazing!
