Do you think of mountains when you think of Hawaii? As a part of our three-day event, Sara (from Burnetts Boards) and Chelsea (From Bit of Ivory Photography) knew they wanted to highlight the beautiful tropical mountains and forests of Oahu. Everyone thinks about the iconic beaches, but the mist and fog rolling off of the Ko’olau Range created by a prehistoric volcano are just breathtaking. It’s no wonder why the famed black-and-white landscape photographer, Ansel Adams, made a visit to the Aloha State in the 1940’s for a commissioned national parks project!
To add perfection, Sara and Chelsea wanted to incorporate casual island chic to this scenery and were thrilled when a real couple, Jose and Nick, agreed to be part of the shoot! Lightly stylized, they were perfect for conveying with this side mountainous of Hawaii. And heck, the vintage lawn games added the perfect touch to the lifestyle photographic element!
There are three more features from Hawaii on Burnett’s Boards. Check them out!
