The mountains attract all types of people, from the well-heeled and fashionable looking to escape the city heat, to nature-loving bohemians, and everything in between. Today's couple, Peter and Heather, wanted a small wedding in the mountains as a family. The initially only invited their kids and their moms but eventually ended up with 20 people crashing their forest wedding. They kept things simple and special. They didn't have a schedule or an agenda, all they needed was their love. Adventure photographers from Bergreen Photography captured every sweet moment.
Marc and Brenda Bergreen met the groom, Peter, in front of the Wuksachi Lodge and followed him to a place that they had picked the day before where two trees have grown partly together. Peter's brother performed the ceremony. Peter and Heather each shared their own vows. Our favorite part was when Peter said something in awe of the giant Sequoia tree and that even the giant tree couldn't explain his love. I agree, that feeling when you look up at a tree that big and are left speechless. That's the same way Peter looked at his bride.
