How about a cheese table? It's oh so French!

Let's face it. not everybody likes cake or dessert. In fact, when I was planning my own wedding, one of my best girlfriends told me I would have more leftover cake than I knew what to do with. She was right! I had an entire 10" round left over!

So when I spotted the first image on Cup of Jo, I thought it was another pretty cake buffet. But when I clicked over to Sunday Suppers, I nearly leapt out of my chair to do the happy dance when I realized it was cheese. I LOVE cheese.

A pretty, well designed cheese table can be a sophisticated alternative to the wedding cake, or a cake or cupcake buffet. Arrange assorted cheeses like you would a cake or dessert buffet, with cheese rounds elevated on cake stands. Add baguettes, honey and pears compliment the cheeses. Finish the look with custom labels that let guests know what they are eating.
