Reader Question: Barn Wedding Venues in the Mountains

Tristan and his fiancee are trying to find the perfect barn wedding venue in the mountains. He writes:

Dear Christie,

I really enjoyed your website, and really would enjoy any insight you might have for a rustic wedding in a barn with amazing mountain views. We would love the actual venue to be super casual, and we actually would prefer that. We are really outdoorzy people who love to raft, hike, bike etc. Ideally along with the amazing view, and a rustic basic venue we are looking to be close to the fun activities so that the huge family get together could enjoy some fun activities together. Do you have any suggestions, we are open to nation parks or just stunning mountain area in the Rockies, California, Montana, and even New Hampshire or Maine (different sea coast idea but I spent summers in Sebago Lake area, which is also were my favorite person purposed.) Any thoughts would be greatly appreciate we will probably get married either early summer or later summer 2015. Thank you again for every thing you have already inspired me with, and I appreciate you must be busy, but your web site is the closest thing I have found to what we have talked about.
