To Make Pomegranate Mulled Cider
- 1 gallon fresh apple cider (If you’re near an apple orchard, pick up fresh, local apple cider from them!)
- 3 cups POM pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 5 cloves
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 piece of ginger, cut about 1/2 inch thick
Bring apple cider, POM, sugar and spices to a boil in a large pot. Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes more to let the flavors develop an infuse into the cider. Remove spices before serving.
Serve in a cozy mug and garnish with cinnamon sticks or apple wedges.
Can be refrigerated for up to 5 days. Gently reheat before serving.
