Sandra and Harald tied the knot high on a mountaintop in gorgeous Brenneralm, Austria. They were joined for a magical day by 130 of their closest friends and family. Sandra and Harald were so taken by the lovely color of the box Sandra's Tiffany engagement ring came in that they decided to incorporate the color into their traditional white wedding, giving the design a fun but sophisticated pop of color. Their elegant day was captured by Andreas Jacob but also be sure to check out their stunning wedding video, expertly produced by Sacha Lautersack of Loud Cinematography.

Brenneralm, Austria

Wedding day weather: cloudy
Number of guests: 130
Your budget: 30,000 Euro

Why did you choose the Mountains for your wedding?

We live in the mountains , we love the mountains, we spent a lot of time in the mountains so a mountain wedding was the best choice for us!

Wedding day theme:

Elegant and traditional with a tiffany blue and white colour palette.

Where did you find your inspiration?

The engagement ring was from Tiffany's and we just fell in love with the classic “Tiffany blue,” so we combine the more traditional and elegant wedding colour of white with Tiffany blue.

How did you choose to personalize your wedding?

We wanted that everyone of our guests know that we are very happy, and that they were loved so much to be part of our most important day.

What are three things you're super glad you did?

  • We planned the wedding and decided most of the things together
  • We hired a photographer and a videographer
  • We gave ourselves enough time for planning.

What was the biggest challenge in planning your mountain wedding and how did you overcome it?

All of the good bands, locations, etc. get booked well in advance, but we knew this, so we started early and had enough time to book our first choice for all of our vendors.

How did you find and choose your vendors?

We have found our vendors on the Internet and through recommendations. They are all unique and have convinced us immediately.

What is your best piece of advice to other mountain brides who are planning their weddings?

Do not let yourself be influenced by other people. Planning your wedding exactly as you imagine it. This is your day!
