Nature greets us in many forms in the mountains. We have an idea of what nature looks like in different parts of the nation, from the craggy snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada, to the ancient and gentle rolling hills of the Berkshires. When many of us think of Utah, we think of world-class ski areas, the great Salt Lake, or the rust and buff colored desert of the Four Corners and Slick Rock regions. But Utah also holds a little magic in her canyons. These are places amid the desert where water collects and runs off from the mountains and hills in lush, riparian corridors. Meadows literally spring up in a celebration of green. It’s in one of these canyons, Big Cottonwood Canyon, that Utah wedding photographer Natalie Felt and her colleagues choose for this simple and delightful bridal inspiration shoot.
