The inspiration behind this beautiful “Life’s a Peach” wedding inspiration was a hot summer day, fresh juicy peaches and a farm to table feel while still being whimsical and feminine. When beautiful sunny days grace Colorado, fresh and local Palisade peaches are such a treat! Colby Elizabeth Photography captured each sweet detail perfectly!
This gorgeous collaboration included vendors who share the same love for Leanne Marshall wedding dresses, organic blooms, a rustic Colorado venue, local sourcing and of course fresh fruit!
Harvest Table Company is located right in Lyons and brought a farm table made of locally salvaged barn wood. Patina Preferred , the other vintage rental company, “wanted to add a feminine elegance with the Thelma and Louise pink chairs. These pieces are timeless and added to the overall feel of the shoot’s southern charm.” The chairs complimented the paper products perfectly. Meagan with Whimsy Design Studio said, “I love being able to incorporate hand-done painting or illustration into my work whenever possible. For this stationery suite, I painted a few watercolor elements (peaches and florals) to compliment the fun, yet modern, calligraphy font styles on the invitation.”
Who doesn’t love a naked cake?! Langilicious Fine Pastries was inspired by the sweet smell and taste of Palisade peaches. Our cake was created with fresh palisade peaches tossed in a Madagascar vanilla cake batter. The light and delicate filling for the cake was Swiss meringue buttercream. In addition to the cake, Marquis created the adorable Peach Cookies with palisade Peach jam. Refreshing cocktails were hand-crafted by 3 Chicks Bartending in Boulder from fresh, local and organic ingredients.
The flowers added a unique charm to the entire shoot. Sarah with Pink Paisley Events designed the draping garland with peaches interlaced to parallel the peach theme. Not only that, but the bouquet is a unique design that is not often seen in Colorado. The rustic, yet organic charm of the bouquet added warmth.
Our beautiful model Christina’s hair and makeup were done by Steele The Spotlight and she wore a beautiful ivory and peach lace Leanne Marshall gown by Emma and Grace Bridal Studio.
