Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel in Jackson Hole, WY over the Christmas holiday. OK, OK, I know this isn’t breaking news, but here’s the deal: I typically don’t pay attention to celebrity weddings; they just don’t interest me. But this is different. Justin and Jessica got engaged in one of my favorite ski areas: Jackson Hole. Rumor has it Justin proposed while the two were out snowboarding.
One can only hope that the couple will choose an equally stunning mountain resort for their wedding. It’s not far fetched. Justin and Jessica have been spotted in a number of Rocky Mountain resorts, including Steam Boat Springs and Vail. While she rocks it on the runway with stunningly elegant gowns, Jessica, who is an avid snowboarder, loves her casual duds. My favorite: jeans, a North Face vest and trail runners.
So the big question is, if Jessica and Justin marry in a mountain town, which on will it be? And what will the wedding be like? My guess: It will be sweet, romantic, intimate, and low key. She may not opt for mason jars, but I can see Jessica going full tilt with lovely, Martha-inspired birch bark accents, dreamy candles, romantic white roses and sprays of pine. I also can see a cozy fire pit for guests to roast marshmallows for their S’more kits and Hudson Bay wool blankets to keep the chill away.
