Rich burgundy and blackberry tones, coupled flecks of gold and bold geometric shapes elevate any wedding. For a modern, sophisticated cocktail hour, pair champagne with blackberry juice and garnish with gold.
Blackberry Bubbly Signature Drink
This blackberry infused champagne cocktail is beautiful and elegant. The gold flecks elevate the deeply colored blackberries lending chic and graceful touch to cocktail hour.
Directions for the Signature Wedding Cocktail
(your bartender can make this on an individual basis, so there is no recipe for 4 or 100.)
This recipe only requires blackberry juice, fresh blackberries (embellished with edible gold leaf), a sugar cube and Freixenet Cordon Negro Sweet Cuvée. Made by Swooned, get the recipe here.
Tips
- If you don’t have time for gently pressing gold leaf to a zillion berries? Use a gold leaf shaker instead. The effect will be different, with gold fleck floating around the cocktail, but it’s still pretty.
- Ask your bartender to be careful with the fresh blackberries. Slightly broken or smashed blackberries will turn your drinks purple.
