OK, not really. This is more a commentary (read: spoof) on "looking beautiful" in general, but I think applies to bridal beauty.
I'm totally supportive about looking your best on your wedding day. I had a wonderful time taking better care of myself during the lead up to my wedding. I ate better; pampered myself with regular haircuts; updated my makeup; and got manicures. I felt so glamouous. It was super fun. That's why I did it. Not because Hindsight groom would not love me otherwise, but because it was a rare treat.
Bridal beauty preparation should NOT be about stress, or achieving an ideal body, or looking like anyone other than the person your partner fell in love with.
I hope the following video lends a bit of perspective to love and beauty. Enjoy!
