I have another another gorgeous Nordica Photography submission today. This is a fun and adventurous engagement shoot in the rugged mountains of British Columbia. Destination photographers Cole and Jakob are internationally known by brides and colleagues alike for their keen attention to details and honest photography. I am honored to feature them again today. If you missed it, check out the amazing Icelandic Anniversary Hike they captured. It’s one of my all time favorites!

Quads, Fires, Bear Tracks and Frolicking in Golden, BC
The session took place in the Rockies around Golden, BC, and it made perfect sense to do it there for a number of reasons. First, Leah and MacKenzie built a cabin there and that is where they jet off to from their home in Calgary whenever they need a weekend retreat. What they enjoy doing when they get there is exactly how we spent our time during the session: Riding around the mountains on quads, picking out a stunning location for starting a fire and having hotdogs, and generally just frolicking around in the mountains.
What this session does not include is a huge vendor list and DIY details. What is does include is a couple doing exactly what they love to do together, which is how they want to remember this time of their lives when they’re old and wrinkly together. Keeping it real is very inspiring, and these are the types of sessions we love to photograph.
