Melissa and Shane celebrated their intimate elopement in Germany at one of the most beautiful spots of the Bavarian Alps. The Lake Eibsee and the nearby located Lake Frillensee, directly underneath Germany’s highest mountain. A heavy rainstorm the night before their wedding ceremony caused this mystical foggy atmosphere all around the lake – but during the ceremony, there even was some sunshine peaking through the clouds.

I am a Registered Nurse and my husband is an Orthopedic Surgeon
What is your proposal story?
We knew we were going to get married very early in our relationship, but we wanted to take sometime and make sure that our children were going to all get along and that co parenting would be successful. One evening we had some particularly wonderful days with the kids and my husband asked me to go outside with him.He then got on his knees and told me that he was 100% sure that our life together was what he wanted, We picked out a ring from an antique dealer that represented our new family with our boys, and when it arrived he made a wonderful dinner and had a lovely date set up for us at home.
Tell us about your attire choices.
I wanted a soft, flowing dress that would photograph well in the beautiful place we were going to have our ceremony. I wanted flowy romantic hair as well and soft but beautiful makeup, and my hair and makeup artist did a perfect job! My husband just wanted to look nice and wanted me to be the star of the show!
