Lauren and Jason chose The Swag in Waynesville, North Carolina for their intimate mountain elopement on July 11, 2016. This private Bed and Breakfast is on the boarder of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and provides an earthy and intimate setting for weddings and elopements. Their summer afternoon wedding was at Gooseberry Knob with the most amazing panoramic views! We were 5,000 feet in elevation, and after their ceremony the mountains were slowly enveloped in white clouds.
Lauren rode from their cabin to the ceremony in a white safari style Land Rover. Jason had the biggest smile when he saw her come out of the Land Rover and walk down to meet him for the ceremony! After their ceremony, they sat in the adirondack chairs overlooking the mountains an enjoyed a glass of champagne and their wedding cake!
