What do you get when two outdoor-loving adventurous people who own a woodworking studio in San Francisco decide to have a destination wedding? A sweet wedding by the Truckee River in Lake Tahoe full of handmade heartfelt details. Eric Asistin Photography was on hand to capture every loving moment and darling detail.
From the photographer, Eric Asistin ~ Rebecca & Grant are an adventurous couple who love everything that involves outdoors. Avid snowboarders, skiers, kite surfers, and pretty much everything else under the sun, Rebecca & Grant frequently recreate in Tahoe and decided that the Truckee River would be a great place to have their wedding. Besides their outdoor adventures, they also own and operate their own woodworking shop Six-72 in San Francisco CA. Using their design talents, they fused their woodworking passion into the theme of their day by designing and manufacturing their invitations, seating cards, signage, centerpieces, and photo booth backdrop. I have to say that their approach to a DIY wedding was very impressive and it really put a stamp of their personal touch to the day. The day was a huge success even with the threat of thunderstorms on the horizon. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony and offered up some really beautiful photographic light. They partied and danced the night away and the dance floor was never empty. Grant was dancing so much that he even ripped his trousers on the dance floor! Big thumbs up to the gals from Summit Soiree and all those involved for making their day a huge success (Vendors listed at end). Scroll the post to check out some highlights from their day. Congrats Rebecca & Grant!
