Winter is for Eating Honey

Honey Favors are Delightful for Fall and Winter Weddings Too!

I generally associate honey with springtime. And for good reason. Bees start producing their honey in the spring when the flowers begin to bloom. They continue to produce through out the summer and early fall as long as there is pollen, bee will collect it to make honey.

But to you know what bees do in the winter? They eat all the the honey they've stored up…well, they'll eat it if humans don't take it first ;-) The point is, honey favors are lovely in any season. Think about it. What's better than a cup of hot tea with honey on a snowy winter day?

While I'm not typically a fan of etching, I love these etched jars by E. M. Wedding Favors.

Include a cute little tag with your guest's name on it and a recipe, information about, or instructions for enjoying the honey.
