Technology Tuesday: Da Font

It's All about the Fonts Baby!

Are you doing DIYing your wedding invitations and paper elements? Do you agree that default scripty fonts that come stock with Word are, well, boooooooooring. I mean, there are certain fonts I've seen so many times that, when I see them, I say, "oh, there's the Papyrus font," or "oh, Brush Script." But hey, what are you going to do if your resources are limited? You are going to check out DaFont.com for free fonts.

Hindsight Groom and I designed the invitations and paper elements for both weddings. Luckily we found DaFont.com Here is a picture of our California ski wedding invitation using Chocolate Box font.

There are hundreds of fonts (and wingdings) to choose from, including retro, typewriter, calligraphy, ethnic, handwritten and brush fonts. Enjoy!
