Well this week has been an exiting one. I have been honored with a guest post on Cap Classique, and picked as on of BrideTide's top 100 wedding bloggers of 2011. I'm also happy to report that mountain weddings already are popping up around the blogosphere, and the trend toward publishing mountain weddings shows no sign of abating in the coming year. Woohoo, more inspiration for mountain brides everywhere!
So without further adieu, here is this week's highlights:
1) Cookie Guest Post
Gaby from Cap Classique asked me to write a guest post about cookies for her blog. Cap Classique covers South African Weddings and contains some of the hottest style and inspiration on the web. In this guest post I talk about the different options brides have for incorporating cookies into their wedding, whether they are hosting a casual backyard reception, or a more formal fete in a grand lodge.

2) Top 100 Wedding Blogs of 2011
If you missed it, the Hindsight Bride blog (along with Gaby's Cap Classique) was picked by BrideTide as one of the top 100 wedding blogs of 2011. Woohoo! Check out some of my other favorites here.
3) First Published Mountain Wedding of 2011
Another wondrous mountain wedding surfaced in the blogosphere. The first of 2011 as far as I can tell! Check out The Knotty Bride for all of the swoon-worthy details. The bride was going for "casual elegance" with here wedding, and boy did she hit it out of the ballpark. The informal wildflowers and handmade details combined with lace and a white and pale color palette make this wedding the perfect combination of casual and elegant. Be sure to check out all three parts of this dreamy mountain wedding: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3
