Easy and Inexpensive DIY Paper Lanterns
Top Left: From Martha Stewart Weddings, the key ingredients of these paper lanterns are a string of white lights and white paper bags
Top Middle and Bottom Right: Darcy from With This Ring used classic paper bag lanterns to line her walkway. To add a delicate touch, she used a punch out to create a "lace" border.
Top Right: These easy pinhole monogrammed tea light lanterns require little more than vellum, ribbon, and tape. Great for DIY beginners.
Bottom Left: Use inexpensive paper doily place mats and ribbon to create these sweet paper lanterns. I found instructions on Zakka Life via Elizabeth Ann Designs
Middle Right: These monogrammed lanterns from Design Sponge require a bit more skill and patience. To get the custom monogram, a design is stamped on the paper and out with an Exacto knife. If you don't have a steady hand, choose a simple design with straighter lines.
