This season Blair Nadeau dove into the vintage archives to create a fantastic collection inspired by weddings of years past. Taking a page out of history, we hand painted many of our flowers using silk dyes and inks to create beautiful three-dimensional floral sculptures.
Natural silks are complimented by soft tissue like flowers that grace many of Blair Nadeau veils and headpieces.
And you’ll adore the beautiful handcrafted dress sashes. Using traditional millinery techniques,Blair Nadeau has delicately beaded French Alencon lace, Mokuba laces with hand set Preciosa and Swarovski crystals. Hand pressed silk flowers are also staple pieces on the newest sashes.
Look for romantic, vintage-inspired colors as well. This season’s pieces experiment with shades of mint, blush, opal, pale yellow and sage. Metals and the mixing of metals is a key message as we mixed silver, gold and rose gold to make elegant crowns and headpieces.
