Fourth of July DIY Roundup

For Fourth of July Weddings or any Wedding with a Red and Blue Color Palette

Lollies

FYI Ladies, the craft blogs and Mom blogs are great resources for DIY projects and ideas. I just found Makes and Takes  and am loving it! Replace the flags in the center with table numbers and adjust the paper and patterns to suit your color palette and theme and you can use these lollies for any wedding! Find the complete directions here.

Confetti Popper Rockets

I love the idea of using these instead of rice, sparklers, or bags of confetti when the bride and groom depart. They're different and tres festive. I found these on AlphaMom. No I am not yet a mom, but like I said, the mommy and craft blogs often have great DIY projects and ideas that, with a little modification, can be perfect for your wedding. Find full instructions here.

Lifesaver Rocket Favors

I found this easy-peasy-lemon-breezy little project on An Altered State of Mind. Basically you tie a ribbon vertically on the lifesaver roll, wrap with paper (you can use downloadable digital Scrapbooking paper, regular Scrapbooking paper, wrapping paper, or paper you made yourself.) I would also take it one step further and add a sticker or logo to the front. Again, customize with your wedding colors and this favor can work for ANY wedding.

DIY Pompoms and Table Runners

Oh Martha! You're so good so often. The pompom center pieces are one thing, but I love, love, love the stenciled table runner. I probably don't need to tell you at this point that you can change the colors and have these projects work for any wedding ;-) I also want to point out that you can pair the pompoms with flowers, pinwheels, feathers, or anything your heart desires to create your centerpieces and tablescapes.
