What was your design inspiration?

Devynn Crawford of the River Place Venue, wanted a whimsical romantic theme for the shoot. This was reflected throughout from the hair and makeup to tablescape.

Describe your flowers.

Brenna of Thistle and Lace used so many gorgeous flowers; anemones, hyacinth, Icelandic poppies, ranunculus, and Juliet roses to name a few. Her arrangements set the entire mood of the shoot.

Describe your cake.

Oh this cake! Catie Cakes never disappoints, but this cake was one of my most favorites, I love the separated levels and simplicity dress with burst of floral color. The gold foil edging was the perfect touch of elegance.

Tell us about your attire choices.

Loveliest Bridal carries the most amazing designer dresses, Anna gave us a gorgeous Becca Couture gown that was perfect mix of whimsical and classy.

Please describe any DIY, handmade or personal details.

Devynn made custom linen menus and invitations for the shoot, with gold foil writing.

Describe the tablescape elements.

The yellow in the gold elements were balanced out with the table’s modern silverware, hints of yellow in the florals, and raw honeycomb on the table. The yellow hues were the perfect complement to the arrayment of pinks.
