While red is the customary wedding color in Chinese weddings, it is rare in mainstream US culture, but can you imagine a more perfect wedding gown for this bride. The gray-knit shawl and gorgeous bouquet complete the look. See the entire wedding HERE.

Best Decor

I love brides and grooms who incorporate natural, local details into their wedding. For this Jackson Hole wedding, the bride and groom looked for antlers that were naturally shed in the hills right behind their house. See the entire wedding HERE.

Soft candlelight, a window looking out onto the mountains, and rustic antler chandeliers make this Keystone wedding venue dreamy.  See the entire wedding HERE.

Best Ceremony Idea

Windows and doors are so meaningful, metaphorically. The eyes are said to be a window to the soul. What a lovely thought as you look into each other’s eyes and say your wedding vows. And doors, well they signify a passing though from one place to the next, just as you go from being single to being married. It’s a new chapter in your life. So I just loved that this couple used windowed doors as their outdoor ceremony alter. See the entire wedding HERE.

Best Bouquet

Yep. That bride used her own hummingbird tattoo as the inspiration for her wedding cake. How awesome is that? See the entire wedding HERE.

Best Hindsight Advice

Your bridesmaids are more than just part of the ceremony: We just has a lady of honor (we didn’t really like the word “matron”) and a best man. Neither of us was into the whole matchy-dress-30-person-entourage thing. But the truth is, I wish I had chosen one or two more bridesmaids.

I needed help that week and had to depend on people who probably should have been in the wedding with how much work they put in. My sister was my lady of honor and she was amazing but she also had a four week old baby and a two year old to handle at the time. Our best man’s wife probably should have been named an honorary bridesmaid for how much she helped us. ~ Erin, Estes Park, CO
