From JoPhoto: We love intimate, earthy weddings and elopements, and today’s Smoky Mountain wedding at Spence Cabin is exactly that! Kayci and Tyler are from Louisiana, and they drove up to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for their destination elopement at Spence Cabin.
These two had the sweetest wedding ceremony on the banks of the Little River, and then we spent the afternoon taking photos around Elkmont. Kayci and Tyler were game for anything, and they hopped across the rocks in the river and had a blast exploring the woods. We absolutely loved Tyler’s wedding band. It’s silver with wood detail, and it was perfect for their woodland wedding!

Why did you choose the Mountains for your wedding?
We wanted a mountain wedding from the start and the Smokies were too beautiful to pass up!
What are three things you’re glad you did?
- Buying a wedding dress was the first. Even though we eloped I didnt want to lose the feel of being a bride.
- The second was eloping. We had all the feel of a big wedding but turned it into a magical moment for just the two of us. It was everything we wanted and more!
- The last was the time of year we got married. The weather was perfect for an outside wedding.
