Not sure where to start with writing your wedding vows? In search of a meaningful and personalized ceremony idea that will truly lay the foundation for your marriage? I caught up with Kim the JP from New Hampshire to talk about everything regarding wedding ceremonies. Kim specializes in adventurous wedding ceremonies, but also does more traditional hotel and venue ceremonies.
Here are some highlights from our interview:
- The difference between a JP and a clergy member.
- Unique ways to customize your wedding ceremony.
- Tips for having a friend or loved one officiate your ceremony.
- Tips for having your wedding ceremony at a unique mountain location.
Located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Kim has been a JP since 2001. Started as a notary for the State of NH. Two friends asked her to become a JP and marry them. About the same time Kim attended another friend’s wedding in the backcountry. Now Kim caters to adventurous mountain brides who want a unique wedding in the back country. She does Civil unions, interfaith ceremonies, non-religious ceremonies and pretty much any ceremony you can think of. Kim specializes in out-of-the box wedding ceremonies. She enjoys a 5 star rating on Wedding Wire rated and is beloved by brides and grooms, as the numerous unsolicited testimonials on Kim’s website tell.
