Romantic Pink and White Mountain Wedding at Pure Water Farm

Hanging Florals | Pure Water Farm Wedding Tennessee | JoPhoto | Via MountainsideBride.com

Nothing ushers in the spirit of spring like a wedding, especially one overflowing with pretty pink details, flowing bridesmaids gowns and bold pops of hot pink. Megan went with a shabby-chic vibe, incorporating classic roses and vintage details with a laid back farmhouse charm. LB Floral brought the stunning florals to life and mountain fine art photographers JoPhoto  captured every detail.

Wedding day weather: Perfect! Sunny with a nice breeze
Number of guests: 200
Your budget: $20,000
Biggest splurge: Flowers
Biggest savings: Rentals

Why did you choose the Mountains for your wedding?

We both have grown up in East Tennessee all our lives with the gorgeous Smokey mountains in our backyard. We both love the mountains especially in the spring. It just made since to have the all around us on our special day.

Wedding day theme:

Vintage with a mix of shabby chic… Colors were ivory, blush pink and gray

Where did you find your inspiration?

A lot came from my style. However, I got some ideas from Pinterest.

What was your favorite part of the reception?

Our first dance as husband and wife!

What are three things you’re super glad you did?

  1. Picked great food even if it was a little more expensive
  2. Signature drinks which were mint juleps and Moscow mules
  3. Asking my grandfather to build our arbor and cross. Those two pieces mean the world to me.

Anything you wished you hadn’t worried about?

Perfection. I would not have worried about trying to make everything perfect because at the end of the day nothing is perfect and all that matters is celebrating the love we have.

How did you find and choose your vendors?

Mainly word of mouth and meeting with them. Our first vendor to pick was JoPhoto. I have loved their work for years and they both are so wonderful to work with. They gave us a few suggestions and everything else just feel into place!

What is your best piece of advice to other mountain brides who are planning their weddings?

Enjoy every second and don’t stress the little things. It goes by so fast!
