Orgeat Punch | Signature Drink of the Month

Orgeat Punch

We have something new for you this month. We’ve teamed up with Lena from A Crimson Kiss, the best cocktail maven in the blogosphere, and Sara from Burnetts Boards, the best inspiration board creator on the web. You not only get signature cocktail inspiration but also wedding style inspiration that springboards off of the cocktail itself–it’s taste, colors, seasonality, and style. This month we’re featuring Orgeat Punch!

Orgeat Punch with fresh berries

  • 1 1/2 oz rye
  • 1 oz port
  • 1 oz orgeat
  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • orange bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice; shake for 5-10 seconds, then pour into a Collins glass. Garnish with fresh berries. Note: You can substitute brandy in this cocktail for a richer sipper.

Orgeat Punch Wedding Inspiration

The rich colors and fresh berry garnish of this signature cocktail lend itself to outdoor summer fetes. Think casual backyard weddings with natural or whimsical details. All of your details should evoke the rich abundance of summer without being fussy.
