Perfect for Brides on a Budget
My in-laws introduced me to Champagne Cocktails. It transforms a modest (so-called drinkable) champagne into something truly enjoyable with nothing more than a sugar cube and a dash of bitters.
You can use any modest, but drinkable Champagne for this. My family uses Cristalino Brut, which you can get for around $6 bucks a bottle.
Champagne Cocktails
Serve as during signature drink during cocktail hour or as your champagne toast.
- 1 sugar cube
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 oz of Dubonnet (optional)
Place the sugar cube in the champagne flute and soak with Angostura bitters. Add the Dubonnet (optional). Top with Champagne. Stir. Add a twist of lemon.
