Why did you choose the Mountains for your wedding?
There is truly not a more beautiful view than the Tennessee mountains. We knew the one thing we would take from our wedding was our pictures, so with the best photographers around the view of the mountains was no question.

Where did you find your inspiration?
My inspiration came from the sheer fact I was marrying my best friend. So I wanted our day to be everything we could ever dream of, with the people we love most. What more could a girl ask for?
How did you choose to personalize your wedding?
Now a days it’s very common for people do a first look with their soon to be spouse. Instead I chose to do a first look with my father. Without question I’m so glad I did! Secondly, our venue we chose to get married at, our wedding was the first one there!
What was your favorite part of the reception?
Dancing the night away with my husband and best friends!
What are three things you’re super glad you did?

What was the biggest challenge in planning your mountain wedding and how did you overcome it?
The largest challenge we faced when planning our mountain wedding was determining the weather. The one thing I did not want was a tent for the ceremony. Why chose the mountains if you’re going to hide the beauty of East TN? With that being said, I was stubborn enough to not get a tent.. And it rained. Rain and all it was still the most perfect day of my entire life!
How did you find and choose your vendors?
Weddings aren’t cheap, that’s for sure! So we asked around about different vendors and made decisions on what we thought was best for our budget and who had the best ratings!
What is your best piece of advice to other mountain brides who are planning their weddings?
Don’t worry about the weather! God has your day planned and what better way to show his marvelous creations than mountains in the background?!
