Chandeliers add a touch of elegance to any wedding, whether a rustic outdoor fete or a classic ballroom wedding.

I first saw chandeliers back in 2008 when I started planning my own wedding and I am so pleased to see that they are still popular. They add a touch of grandness and elegance that is classic for twentieth century weddings.

I especially love the elegant crystal chandelier strung over a rustic table with tall mountains in the background. I'm not sure what you call it: rustic chic? rustic elegance? But I love the grandness and glamour of a big crystal chandelier in a dusty, high desert setting. I'm also a big fan of hanging mix matched vintage lanterns from a tree. Or combining a classic crystal chandelier with brigthly-colored origami cranes.

I am continually impressed with the creativity and ingenuity of chandelier design and use at weddings. Brides are rethinking the standard crystal chandelier and using mason jars and bird cages to create the same effect. I love it all!

Another thing I love about outdoor chandelier design is they do not have to light up to create a stunning effect, especially for daytime weddings.

This is a great idea to use chandeliers to decorate a wedding venue, even if it is an outdoor setting. Normally you wouldn’t think a rustic setting and chandeliers would work, but the pictures you gathered helps to bring to life how this can be done. Truly inspirational!
